You have such a gift of percolating your thoughts, distilling them and conveying them like a song we can all learn to sing.
What a night! What a few days! Ones that will stay with us forever for all the BEST and all the worst reasons.
It’s so hard to make sense of - to want to wax lyrical about all we witnessed in Vegas - the absurdity, the wonder, the ordinary, the sublime and the ridiculous... the marvel of the creativity that can build something like Sphere, that can imagine and deliver those visuals that can transports us seemingly anywhere - even into Heaven or a new earth. Songs that soundtrack so many chapters and which offer the space to hold us in our questions and, to quote Brene Brown, music which grows with us and changes with us and gives room to figure out who we are.
...and then to try to wrap our heads around what is going on elsewhere in world and elsewhere in our own lives.
Maybe putting our hands up to the sky, fingers spread wide is a good place to start?
Maybe it’s gratitude?
Maybe it’s a prayer?
Maybe it’s surrender?
