Video: "There's Still a Place for You Here."

Reflecting on what this simple sentence, written in 2014, means to me in 2025.

I didn’t plan to talk for nine minutes after reading “There Is Still Some Time” as we reached the end of the second If You Feel Too Much 10-Year Anniversary Event. But this is what came out and I want to share it with you.

If you missed one or both events, the two recordings are now available in my online store:

Here’s Night One (7/10).

Lots of crying. This was a surprisingly meaningful and emotional night for me, bouncing between reading, reflecting, and Q&A.

Here’s Night Two (7/24).

I didn’t cry. The Chat worked this time. I got to read some different stories and folks asked lots of good questions.

I’ve been really enjoying the coaching & consulting sessions lately. If you’re feeling stuck, wrestling with big questions, or finding your way through a season of transition, you can learn more about connecting one-on-one here.

My next event is August 4 in Sioux Falls. I’m honored to be one of the keynote speakers at this year’s South Dakota Behavioral Health Conference. If you need a speaker for an upcoming event, whether it’s related to mental health, suicide prevention, non-profit work, or something else, I hope you will reach out.

There are shirts, posters and a few signed books available in my online store.
