BEGIN AGAIN Special Guest: Levi The Poet
Join us this Saturday, December 30 or next Tuesday, January 2.
My dear friend Levi The Poet has been added to BEGIN AGAIN, the special online event that’s happening twice in the days ahead—this Saturday, December 30 and next Tuesday, January 2. Levi will perform for 25-30 minutes before I speak, and then he’ll stick around for Q&A as well. It was great getting to do EVEN NOW with Levi back in September, during National Suicide Prevention Week. I’m honored and excited to have him in the mix for something new.
If you’re just finding out about BEGIN AGAIN, it’s a chance for me to share some thoughts on a new year. Are resolutions bullshit or a good thing or perhaps a bit of both? How can we experience real change that is sustainable? I’m excited to do the event at the end of 2023 and the start of 2024, because I’m curious to see how the two dates might feel different. Maybe it offers the chance to look at hope, and why the possibility of something new so often moves us.
BEGIN AGAIN is taking place online—on Zoom to be in exact. Levi will be joining us from Albuquerque, where he was born and raised and where last week he surprised his mom, with a homecoming for Christmas. I’ll be in my little office at the house I rent in Melbourne Beach, Florida, which is where I grew up and where I’ve lived for most of my life. (I’ve had a complicated relationship with Florida since long before Florida became increasingly complicated.)
Anyway, online. Zoom. Two dates. One ticket gets you access to both 12/30 and 1/2, along with both recordings. Meaning, in case you were wondering, yes we are recording these. The idea with doing BEGIN AGAIN twice is because I know a lot of people are traveling and a lot of folks have plans this time of year—or time of years. So my hope is that one of the dates will work for you. If your schedule is wide open, please feel free to come to both. And if you can’t make either date, you have the option of checking out one or both recordings.

There are four small-group conversations happening in January. If you’re interested in starting 2024 with vulnerability and connection, please consider joining me:
Friday, January 5 - “So This Is the New Year”
Friday, January 12 - “I Wish I Had More Friends”
Saturday, January 20 - “What I Believe About God and What God Believes About Me”
Tuesday, January 30 - “I’m in a Season of Change”
My hope is to spend more time on the road for speaking events next year. If you like the idea of bringing me in to encourage an organization or group that you’re connected to, it’s safe to say I’m interested. (Online events work too!) My friend Sean Lawton and the team at Collective Speakers can help.
Want to connect one-on-one? I’m available for coaching and consulting on a limited basis.
