April Dates (And One for May)
Small-group conversations, a private speaking event, and room for more.
There are four small-group conversations happening in April. The first—“ADHD (I’m Learning How My Brain Works)”—is one week from today. I’ve led this new topic twice now and really loved both groups.
Here’s a quote from my friend Paige, who participated recently:
"I'm so appreciative of the space to share my ADHD experience not only with people who will listen, but with people who want to listen. Helpful meme accounts are no substitute for the real connection that happens when a small group of individuals going through the same thing (in different ways) get together to talk (and laugh) it out. This experience was magic." —Paige Stanley
Friday, April 5 - “ADHD (I’m Learning How My Brain Works)” (Two spots left)
Thursday, April 11 - Avoidance
Wednesday, April 17 - “I Wish I Had More Friends”
Tuesday, April 30 - Imposter Syndrome (one spot left)
Thank You to my brilliant friend Brittany Mattes for suggesting this new topic. She will be joining me for the first conversation, on the final day of April. And with only one spot left as of now, I’ve gone ahead and added a second date, which is Saturday, May 4. Please note the start time of 4pm ET. I like to offer the earlier option now and then, as friends in the UK can join us and still get to bed at a decent hour.
Saturday, May 4 - Imposter Syndrome

Beyond the small-group conversations, I will be speaking in Phoenix on Wednesday, April 24. This one is a private event, meaning not open to the public. I’m mentioning it here because I like the idea of making a second / public event happen. If you’re interested in cooking something up, whether it’s connected to my Phoenix trip or totally separate, the folks at Collective Speakers can help. (Friendly reminder that speaking events can be in-person or virtual, keynote or workshop, for audiences of any size.)
NEEDS AN OCEAN: Today thru Monday, enjoy 25% OFF when you use code NOJOKE at checkout. The discount applies to everything.
Did you know that there are two Ever Get Home shirts and two posters as well? I might be slightly biased but I’m a big fan of the Gracie design.
If you’re interested in connecting one-on-one, I offer coaching and consulting on a limited basis. I can’t be your therapist but I enjoy talking career, relationships, self-care, and more.
